    3. Canada

    EMC regulations in Canada are governed by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), formerly Industry Canada. Mandatory compliance requires, at minimum, a Declaration of Conformity for most devices (e.g., ICES-003 for digital apparatus) or formal certification for radio equipment, ensuring electromagnetic emissions do not exceed specified, often ANSI-based, limits.

    Under the Australian Communications Authority regulations, devices must comply with EMC requirements outlined in the EMC Framework.

    The RCM mark is mandatory for EMC, safety, and telecommunications compliance.

    5. Japan

    Voluntary Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment (VCCI)

    VCCI establishes standards for EMC compliance in Japan, primarily targeting information technology equipment, but extending to many consumer electronics. Although it is voluntary, it is widely adopted for IT and AV equipment. Products displaying VCCI mark indicate conformity to the EMC requirements.

    6. Korea

    The National Radio Research Agency (RRA) under the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) regulates EMC through the KC Certification Scheme.
